Renzo Piano

This is a set of cards, poster and book that is inspired by Pritzker Prize winning artist Renzo Piano. This set of work is inspired by Pianos design philosophy, which highlights the importance of building not only as the completed structure, but the process of building as well.

Through the set of cards, it gives the user the opportunity to build the cards using instructions given on each piece, ultimately forming the word ‘building’ in the end.

I used a similar concept to showcase Piano’s design philosophy throughout the rest of the set, where I used the chapters and typography to build the format of a book. in the poster I used text to create a relationship with negative space between the letters.
